![]() I am listening to the autobiography of Will Smith right now called “WILL.” He starts off the book with a story of a hard lesson his Father taught him and his brother at a young age, and (while paraphrasing) it goes like this: I have something else that really spoke to me this week, and sometimes one idea is more powerful than many. ![]() Perhaps there will be some weeks I go into this Mind Body Play setup, but this isn’t one of them. I’m not sure why that was the case, perhaps I don’t like having so much structure to things, I don’t like feeling like I HAVE to stick to a particular format each week, maybe I lack discipline, who knows.įor me, a strict format is rigid, not playful and stifles authenticity. It felt like all of a sudden I was trying to force something that didn’t seem authentic, and no longer excited me. And as I started thinking of ideas, something didn’t feel quite right. ![]() Why do I feel compelled to share this with you? Because I sat down to write this newsletter, with the Mind, Body, Play format that I told you about last week in mind. I wanted to start this newsletter off with a famous line written by poet Walt Whitman, and it goes like this: ![]()
